I travel to clients’ homes for consultations or to prepare documents. I am available to travel in South Eastern Manitoba or the Interlake, in addition to any Winnipeg location. I can meet clients in their homes or at any other suitable, convenient location. I also have access to a space in central Winnipeg if clients prefer not to meet at their homes. Zoom or other online platforms are also an option for virtual meetings. Arrangements can be made to meet in other locations in Manitoba or Quebec. In-person availability is dependent on applicable Public Health Guidelines.
I can provide service in English, French, and German. I also have knowledge of Ukrainian and Spanish.

After obtaining a degree in Common Law (LLB) from the University of Manitoba and a Civil Law degree (BCL) from McGill University, I practiced Immigration and Refugee Law in Montreal for a number of years. Before becoming a lawyer in Canada, I taught English as a Second Language in Berlin, Germany, and studied sociology at the Free University of Berlin. Born and raised in Manitoba, I hold a bachelor’s degree in English and French as well as a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba.
I returned to Manitoba for family reasons and had a general practice for several years. When the Indian Residential School class action was certified in 2006, I was honoured to be able to represent residential school survivors in hearings pursuant to the Indian Residential School Settlement Agreement.
I am a member of the Law Society of Manitoba as well as the Barreau du Québec. I was a panel chair at the Mental Health Review Board in Manitoba, hearing appeals under the Mental Health Act for several years. I also volunteer as a mediator with Mediation Services in Winnipeg. I am a firm believer in mediation as a tool for conflict resolution in all areas of law and life.
