Wills & Powers of Attorney
Many people tend to put off making their wills or powers of attorney for various reasons. Death and physical and mental incapacity is something we tend to avoid thinking about. In many cases, however, putting off making these arrangements has more to do with the inconvenience of travelling to a lawyer’s office in a major centre, especially for those who are elderly or have mobility issues. This is why I specialize in travelling to where my clients live to prepare these important documents.

Other areas of law
I am a firm believer in the power of respectful conversation, collaboration, and mediation to come to an appropriate resolution to situations that require the assistance of legal professionals, whether there is a conflict or just a need for some guidance to come to an arrangement between parties. I try to bring this approach into all other areas of law in which I may become involved.
In particular, a collaborative approach is my preferred way of assisting clients in family law matters. High conflict in family law matters is not only extremely costly but also very harmful to the well-being of the parties and their children and destructive of the ongoing relationship that is required between the parties where children are involved.
Alongside the specific areas of practice which are my focus, I can give feedback on any legal questions, or alternatively, help find a lawyer who is a specialist.
